EAS is excited about kicking off the Afforestation project in Kenya in partnership with LTS International, the Greenbelt Movement and the Clinton Climate Initiative. Given our staffs extensive experience in carbon project design and development, we have been asked to lead the project which aims to establish a 100 ha pilot project which will contribute experience and data into an evolving National Carbon Accounting System for Kenya.
"Working with The Greenbelt Movement, established by Nobel Peace Prize winner Wanjari Maathai in the Year of Peace and Security in Africa is a real honor", said Marina Conway.
