Introduction to the National Carbon Accounting Toolbox and the FullCAM Model

This course begins with an overview of the National Carbon Accounting System and aims to provide a basic working knowledge of the FullCAM model for estimating forest and soil carbon stock and stock changes in the Australian landscape.

Participants will be stepped through the FullCAM model and shown how to achieve an estimate of carbon stock in forests following a few easy steps using the model default parameters.

Who should take this course:

Landholders and mangers, rural accountants, students, local government staff  and landcare groups who have limited or no experience in running the FullCAM model.
